Henna Shah
Henna Shah is the principal of Shah Law, LLC, and devotes her practice to estate planning. She has been practicing since
1993. Her prior experience involved sophisticated tax and estate planning at prominent law firms in Manhattan and Silicon Valley,
including DLA Piper, Sidley Austin Brown & Wood (formerly Brown & Wood), Proskauer Rose, and Hogan & Hartson (formerly
Squadron Ellenoff Plesent & Lehrer). She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan, her J.D. (with Honors) from
Indiana University School of
Law, and her LL.M. (Taxation) from New York University School of Law. Ms. Shah is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey
and California. She is a member of the Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the
Bar Association of the City of New York, and the Estate Planning Council of New York City.
Ms. Shah lives with her husband and three wonderful children in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. In her spare time, Ms. Shah is
an avid cook (
Henna Cooks!) and she enjoys reading, running and travel.
